短锥分选旋流器利用离心力、重力、旋转剪切力等力的联合作用来分选具有比重差的物料群。流体自旋流器上端给入并在旋流器内形成强制旋转流,旋转流将颗粒按粒度和比重分为内外环层,当矿浆流动至锥体部分时,由于锥体的突然变向,阻力增大,颗粒群向下运动的趋势减缓,并在此形成旋转悬浮层,随着离心力场的减弱,重力作用越来越明显,由按粒度和比重分成的内外两层逐渐转化为按比重分选的上下两层,比重大的颗粒通过底流口排出,比重小的颗粒则通过溢流管排出,从而实现轻重颗粒间的分离。
短锥分选旋流器用于金矿、砂金矿、硫化矿等比重较大的矿物的粗选作业,具有占地面积小,处理能力大,操作弹性大,能耗低,可移动性强等优点。
This kind of the cyclones separate the
materials with various specific gravity by the combined action of centrifugal
fore, gravity force and rotational shear force. The liquid is fed from the top
end of the cyclone and forms forced rotational flow which can divide the
particles into inner and outer ring layer according to the grain size and
specific gravity. When the slurry flows to the cone, the particle group moves
downward centrifugal force, the gravity force action is more obvious and makes
the two layers of inner and outer separated according to the grain size and
specific gravity convert gradually into up and down two layer according to the
specific gravity. The particles with heavy specific gravity are discharged from
the underflow mouth and ghose with light specific gravity. The particles with
heavy specific gravity are discharged from the underflow mouth and those with
light specific gravity are discharged through the overflow pipe and thus it
realizes the separation for heavy and light particles.
The cyclones with short cone are used for
crude grading of minerals with heavier specific gravity in gold mines, sand
gold mir.es and sulphur ore mines and have such advantages as small ground
occupation, high capacity, high operating flexibility, low energy consumption
and high movability etc. |
